Jesus, if anyone gives you 500 for that character, let me know who they are. I've got a capped cleric I'd be happy to let go for a grand. Equipped.
I've only known of two professions that when sold at cap or close to cap have gone for over 500 bucks... for some reason the buyers utility threshold for gemstone characters tends to stay around the glass ceiling of 500 except for wizards and in some rare cases a capped sorcerer. The former for their ability to enchant and thus give ROI, the later for those who want something that can be used to nuke almost anything in the game and become an MA'ers dream OOG enforcer.
Thats just in my experience liquidating other folks accounts as well as watching whats sold on ebay and other venues for selling characters.

Yup, that's pretty true. Wizards always go for the most because they have guaranteed income potential. However, with the upcoming (most likely) release of Paladins, capped clerics will very likely take the top seat in value for a few months.

Disagree.
Wizards can make MILLIONS with enchantaing.
Who else can make millions that "fast"?
No one.

Define fast?

Like I am going to tell you that. I will also add the most I made in GS3 on one day was 4.5 mil. So I am still not quite making what I was in GS3. With the new fixskills on the 20th, I will be tweaking a little bit and hope I can make a little more.
It almost sounds too good to be true...
Man I have been doing it all wrong all these years.
heh, best I was ever able to pull was maybe 400K in one day... but then again I really don't try that hard... 2-3 mil seems a bit... imaginative to me. But prove me wrong.

I've made about 640k in one day hunting solo. Was one lucky day, though. Group hunting it's possible to make that kinda money.

i've heard rumors about making 150k an hour in RR somewhere
I was making 100-150k an hour in EN but it seems the area has gone poor

I use to make like 150k-200k a hour skinning and picking boxes from Centuars. Assuming you have no life or AFK script (however unlikely because a place where you make 200k a hour is most likely a spot where more then one people hunt.) you could do it. However since the nerf to skinning, 2-3m a day sounds like an lie, unless you hunt 24 hours a day

I agree. I think it's possible to make 2m-3m a day, but I don't think it's possible to sustain it. Since the skinning changes, you'll eventually degrade whatever your hunting to a point that you can't sustain it.
When everyone used to make money off the lake, pulling in several mil a day, that was possible because the area spawned well, most people scripted it, and they put in 8 hours a day. And that was making like 300K/hour if you were good.

I'm not sure if I just got really lucky or because RR was a virtual ghost town when the Spitfire was around, but I made just about that in one hunt in warfarers in RR.

I used to hunt Hisskra's in RR, providing I could pick my own boxes, I made about a mill under a week. Was nice, I am gonna go back soon. Most money I ever had.
-Edited to add; Then I came back to the Landing, got arrested a few times and had no money.
Too bad I need someone to give me water walking to get there.

River's Rest isn't as rich as it was.
The richest spots I've hunted so far have been Devils and Mages on Teras.
The rift is ok, planes 1 through 3 have good amounts at times. And EN has good treasure (gems especially) but the continuity of it falling is sporadic at best. Mahaagra tower and the blighted forest have proven to drop nice amounts at times, and I hear beyond the barrier is nice but I've not taken the time.
I do remember the good old days of hunting the lake and valley areas of Solhaven, made alot of coin there but when I lost a veniom hilted falchion there it nuked most of any profit I had made in that area and decided to look elsewhere.
If you're wanting to stay around the landing then your best bet of finding something that is willing to give up lots of coin is to target those who buy mystery packs off the amunet or to hold a high end raffle for 4m a ticket and walk off with the proceeds. I dont think the landing will ever be a place to make alot of coin from hunting.

I am doing 1 mil about every 5 hours. In GS3 it was 1 mil every 3 hours. And to make matters worse, I do not skin. It may sound (as one person said) imaginative. To them I just shrug, move on and smile on my way to the bank.
And the richest spot I ever hunted used to be silverback orcs. Way back when you could easily make 2 - 3 mil a day. Unfortunately, to many high level people hunted there and so the treasure system was nerfed.

God. Silverbacks when they first came out were like level 12 and rich as shit. I think the richest I ever saw was when thief gnolls and vysans went crazy for a few days. Every room had like 30 creatures in it, and they all had good loot.
fire mages ain't rich :flail:

The skull temple used to be a very nice place to earn silvers. Found a mithril bastard axe with a matching harness in a box from there also. Haven't been in the game in forever though, so I am sure it's changed.
