Recently went through my parents basement since I realized that some of the cards I own are worth some actual money, so I was interested to see whether or not anyone plays here or otherwise collects them.
I have a rather large amount from the Revised Series, along with many others that I'm going to be unloading and while I do I figured I'd ask on here as well just in case anyone does.
So if you do, let me know

What I want to know is:
1) Why they let you out of the basemet in the first place.
2) What else you found in there.
3) Can I have the guns.
4) What does Caetul mean.

1) Because I had to eat somehow...
2) I found Cookies. And yes, you are thinking the same thing I am when you hear the word cookies.
3) No, both the guns are mine.
4) Beats the hell out of me.

No, someone stole all my magic cards out of my locker in 7th grade. Never bought one since.

I wonder if that was me...Simply because I think I actually DID do something like that in Middle School.
Stupid lockers were so easy to "Pop" lol

If Revised is the oldest you have then other than dual lands and Force of Will from alliances you really won't have anything of value. All the big price cards are still Alpha/Beta Lotus/Moxs, power 7.

Someone once stole all my rare tom waits recordings. I was sad, but cool.

Dual Lands, sell for roughly 90 bucks a piece on Ebay and other sites.
Granted of course, their average value is like 130 and what most "Shops" sell for, the most I've seen them go for is about 100 or a little under in private sales.
IMO, 100 bucks for a Dual Land card is pretty good if I say so. Everyone knew ages ago the Beta Black Lotus' for example would be worth a shit ton, which is why they still now sell for like what, 1300?
But all in all, I think it's better to just piece out the ones I have of Value, sell them for around 300 then just trash the whole rest of the bin and not bother to look up other cards

This. Sometimes I wish I hadn't sold my Type 1 deck. Did pretty well with it though.
Anyone still play or... 04-02-2011 01:53 PM If I thought you even had a man card, I would ask that you return it.
I made six grand off perhaps a $200 purchase. I did much better than I ultimately did on GS. It gave me spending money for three years of college. If that's somehow against my "man card" viva la fucking feminine.

1) Food is for the weak.
2) LOL
3) False. All your guns are belong to me.
4) ....
ok bye

I still have mine, and my coveted Wraith of God card I got to actually use like twice in the 6 or 7 years that I played.

Ive a minor collection of MTG:O cards still I am sure.
I'll every great once in awhile play a draft online.
But all my RL cards have been lost, destroyed, or sold off.

Yeah, I attempted to play Magic Online, but after years of being gone from that game, I felt as lost and scared like a lost sheep in a redneck's backyard..So many expansions and cards in the database, it's nuts to even ATTEMPT to come back heh

They definitely started milking the cow pretty hard; probably post Ice Age.

I have a friend that makes a living selling these cards.
I sold him my cards a while back and most of my friends have sold him their cards. He won't give you the fair market value, but he will give you a good price and will buy them in bulk.
Let me know if you want his contact info.

I'm alright Keller, thanks though for the heads up.
I just went ahead and put the 9 cards I had of remote value, over 2$ per, up on Ebay.
A day later, I sold my Underground Sea for 95 bucks. Which is higher value when private selling is concerned it seems, since most places like Black Border would only buy for 70 bucks.
So I'm happy with 95 from that, and pending 12 bucks from my Enlightened Tutors. 100 bucks from cards I haven't touched in like 15 years? Sure why not lol

Do you realize what you have done by mocking Christ? Do you even realize the damage you are doing to your Soul?

You're assuming I had one to begin with.
I found all my old cards a few years ago when my dad died. I was disappointed to find my most valuable card was probably Icy Manipulator. I could have sworn I still had some underground rivers.. This sounds pretty nerdy, but then again I play an online text game in 2011, so eh. fuck.
