Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has identified a way to improve the solvency of Social Security -- stop killing the babies who could pay into the system when they grow up.
"The reason Social Security is in big trouble is we don't have enough workers to support the retirees. Well, a third of all the young people in America are not in America today because of abortion, because one in three pregnancies end in abortion," Santorum said in response to a caller's question.
The 52-year-old (and father of seven) has made several trips to New Hampshire, which historically holds the nation's first presidential primary.
His statements come as a wave of anti-abortion legislation is being debated across the nation, including in Pennsylvania, Idaho, Ohio, Texas and Kansas.

I had no idea there were that many abortions.
