an eonake rapier

Hey folks, not selling, just want an appraisal.

I found this on one of my locker characters, sung to it, found out it was a 4x rapier. I'm guessing that because it is eonake, it's sancted, as well, though that didn't come up in the loresong.

The thing is, when sung to for the value, I got this:

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the eonake rapier in your hand, and you learn something about it...

The first thing that strikes you about the rapier is the weight, which is about 2 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 1,100,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the eonake rapier.


Anyone want to tell me why this rapier is worth 1.1m? Nothing sells off the shelf that much, does it? I sure as hell don't remember PAYING 1.1m for a RAPIER, sancted 4x or not. Breakage is 50/155, so nothing special there either.

I seriously doubt it's worth 1.1 million. Good eonake weapons (falchions, waraxes) used to go for around 250K on the open market.

If you ever decide to sell that, let me know. I've been looking for a 4x rapier.

That looks like a rapier i think Iremember being sold for about a million a long time ago. Did it have lightning crits?

The reason is was that much as i recall was it was quite strong for a rapier and also the sancted aspect.

All thats assuming its the same as the one I'm thinking of.

Might be old enough that maybe some of the numbers for loresinging went screwy?

Any flares or anything attached to that sucker?

I'm not sure if eonake light puncturing ambushers would go for much, clerics don't tend to be very good at ambushing undead that are immune to punctures?

The way I understand loresung-values is thus:

When you get a value from loresinging, it is A) the price the item sold for, off the shelf, at some merchant, or B) some base price + more for special abilities later added.

As this is an eonake rapier, I'm guessing it was always sancted, and I can't seem to find any other ability. Eonake is naturally 4x, so it isn't enchanted.

That's just it, my bard doesn't see any flares on it at all. My bard may be too unskilled to loresing it, but he's a pretty good loresinger.

I just sold an eonake waraxe for 400k. 4x sancted strong.

Waraxes are better if you ask me, but You could start in that range.

I find that the 4x blessable rolaren waraxes sell for round 250k, not the sancted eonake ones.
