Based on that loresinging, it should be padded as well. The last line in the OP is not an indication of enhancive charges. It's typically an incredible number of hits and those are padding charges.

So, we don't really know how long the enhancement to THW lasts nor the amount of padding/resistance or type in the helm. Just sayin...

I think that was the bards interpretation versus a mere copy/paste. However, the loresong does use the word degrade, yes.

Damnit, sorry. I was confusing two different helms that are being sold right now. Not that it matters this sold on BO. This could still be padded or resistant. My mistake on saying it has flares.
