Shattered Economics

So... as I (very... slowly...) level up, I'm going to need to upgrade the shield and armor department beyond simple 4x. And yes, I realize 'need' is relative.

What's the economy of Shattered like these days? I saw Nos's auction, and the prices were pretty damn nice. Are silvers valued roughly the same as in Prime? Are mid-to-high level items simply not available for silvers, and are trade-only? I can't say as I've seen much in the way of merchanting, but that might be because I spend a large amount of time AFK.

Silvers is tough. Seemed to be worth less than prime, probably still is. As the player base is dropping though (thanks to the awesomesauce rift!) prices have become much more reasonable.

What are you talking about, coins sell for 1-2 per and gear has no set value at this point in time since only a few people are paying cash for gear in shattered.

Silvers are 2$ per million, and no one wants to hunt in anything better than 4x.

at 15th i have a heavy crit weigted sword and 4x armor and buckler. so far if you need the gear and some one has it the prices seem to be reasonable. and if the stuff is something that drops more often than not its going to come at a price you can afford. plus i have noticed that people will let you give a payment plan for things sine its a smaller community

Actually i sold that stuff that cheap to liquidate. I have made my money from shattered stuff. Really its what your willing to pay. And if I know the person or returning customer I always give them a deal. Since being here i have sold probally somewhere at least 200m in silvers. Those sales range from 1 per to 4 per. But its really what your willing to pay and let it go for. Id say over $1000 bucks worth of shattered stuff. There are lots of buyers.

Now the gear. You can make a ton off of. But you have to remember i had an upwards of 6 accts and went to one. So I used a huge amount of GM turns on the gear to get it high end.

So really, You can get anything you want if your patient OR if your willing to spend the cash for it. Honestly , I was shocked when I posted the accts for so cheap and they didnt go fast like a 61 cleric for 40 bucks is way cheap. Also a 45 wiz for 20 is as well

I sold about 3 characters so far. But after Sluntty, the market or "want" became less to be honest.
