I even had lunch with him...

I'm kind of glad I didn't watch this video of him beforehand or I probably really would have embarrassed my wife.

I will try to schedule a session with him the next time I go to the Philippines and get it on video. I read a little bit of his book and he claims to have lived in a tree for 36 days with no food or water, "eating sunlight". I think he just read some new age books and repackaged some nonsense to sell to filipinos, since he also happens to have a marketing degree. Man I'm typically a pacifist, but this guy is just begging to be punched.

Huh. First thing I thought when I saw the photo was, "That looks like the Philippines." What do you go out there for?

God I hate when the server sits down at your table to take the order

Hah, that's my sister in-law. It was actually an annoying raw food restaurant with ceilings not tall enough to accommodate a shorter than average white guy. My sister in-law is friends with the owner (said douchebag).

Vacation to visit the wife's family. This was my 3rd time.

That would be awesome, I think I'd honestly pay $20 for that if someone did a passable job. I've never wanted to possess video editing skills so badly.

Completely jealous. My boyfriend's family has had some issues with kidnapping in the past in Cebu so they're really reluctant to let any of the younger generation (or their significant others) go to the Philippines. If/when we do go, my boyfriend has to stay quiet and let them do all the talking so no one will know he only speaks a little Tagalog and I guess I just have to look the least white I can. Or something.

I'd really like to go to the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. Or some of the beaches in Cebu. I see pictures of these places whenever my boyfriend's family throws a party because they flip through in the background while they're doing karaoke which they always do on every occasion.

I've only been to Manila a bit, and spend most of my time in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, where the majority of the family is. The only standard tourist spots I've been to is the Underground RIver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Princesa_Subterranean_River_National_Park), and the Iwahig penal colony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iwahig_Prison_and_Penal_Farm), if that counts..

What? This guy is such a problem? I don't see a heavily armed suicidal death cult anywhere, although I will admit I could only take a few seconds of the humming while posing beneath the sun.

We lived in Marikina (in the Manila Metropolitan area) for a while. Crazy place.

Filipinos and their videoke. I loved visiting the people who lived in grass huts with dirt floors, yet had big sound systems and a videoke machine.

Anyone who claims to have lived only on sunlight for 36 days is an asshole. That's all. Also the catalyst for his spiritual journey was an anonymous Mexican who apparently gave him some revelations in the San Gabriel Mountains in California.

All right, I can see your point, but you better punch him overseas because we have tax exempt rights to trick people in such a manner back home.

Many people have fasted for 36 days and longer. And judging by his skinny arms I'd tend to believe he did just that. However, the claim that he did it without water too is ridiculous. That claim would make him a whackjob asshole for sure.

I know. I learned that from Indiana Jones. Who says college professors are boring...

Nah, he was more of a studio guy.

Nah, he was more of a studio guy.

He played all the outdoor auditoriums, by the river and out on a lake even. Shit one time he even performed on a cross. Studio my ass.

I think the woman sitting at the table on the left has large breasts.

Jesus reminds me of Alok, only skinny instead of fat.
