I still have a ton of Peanuts books....

But I agree that it's predominantly low-key... however it can be entertaining once Snoopy is doing his fantasy sequences.

There is only so many times Peanuts can repeat the football syndrome, or Charlie Brown losing baseball games, till it truly does get old.

I like peanuts because of snoopy and woodstock. I was really sad when The Far Side quit being published... But Dilbert's author Scott Adams cracks me up all the time.

I also never liked Marvin. For baby entertainment, Rugrats is way better.

Let me sum of Cathy for you (I think I got this from Porcell, not sure).

Cathy is with [her mom/her sister/her friend] at [home/a department store/her mom's house] complaining about [how fat she is/how she can't fit into any of the clothes/her life], and in the last panel she will flail her arms and there will be sweatdrops drawn in.

personally i'm quite fond of my dad...he drew for National Chevy Association, a car club for '53-'54 Chevy owners. He's now legally blind though from *however ya spell* hystoplasmosis, so he isn't able to do it anymore.
