This isn't one of my regular posts talking about strange things or bitching about stupid people, but something really irritated me lately.

I've been watching the news lately to keep up to date on the fighting in Iraq. What the news seem to be polluted with, though, is just senators and other congressmen turning this whole thing into politics and propaganda for their own agendas. This happens on both sides, Republican and Democrat, conservative and liberal. My biggest gripe is..

WHAT THE FUCK!?!

Can't we for one second put this shit aside and work on a common goal and stop using American lives as a tool and get the damn job done? I'm sick of this shit. We got people dying every single day and all these politicians can do is take shots at each other. Man it irks me.

Well we cant just "stop" now, the outcome would be far worse then having left it be int he first place and the problems it would cause for us with Iraq and hell every other nation in the world for the next 30 years would be horrible. Now, on another note you cant be surprised at all that politicians are using soldiers lives as part of their political agenda now? come on!

I turned on the news this morning to catch up on the Iraq stuff, and BAM, 100% MJ. Ugh.

The guy likes little boys. We all know this! He has court, you (press) can't get inside! I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE FANS FOR 2 FUCKING HOURS!

We might not be surprised that they're doing it, but it really is pretty disgusting. I don't think there's such a thing as a patriotic politician, all they see are events and how they can use them to further themselves, not people.

Chickenhawk n. A person enthusiastic about war, provided someone else fights it; particularly when that enthusiasm is undimmed by personal experience with war; most emphatically when that lack of experience came in spite of ample opportunity in that person’s youth.
