Can anyone tell me what ports and for what reason lich uses? I would like to use this but have to submit a ticket to my ISP to open these up.

LNet uses port 7155. The repository script uses port 7153.

However.. your ISP really shouldn't need to open these up. I've only ever heard of an ISP blocking outgoing connections on port 25, and that's just because most spam comes from that port. What makes you think you have to open up ports?

Updater uses the repository script, so it would be on the same port (7153).

Wait, you're not playing from a library, are you? Please don't be THROGG.

They both connect to lichproject.org, which is 204.232.207.222.

The updater script connects to the repository on the same port and IP as the repository script to update scripts, and it connects to the web server at lichproject.org to update Lich, the map database, and image maps on the normal port 80.

I assume you've already got the ports open to connect to the game. Even if you're using the WizaedFE, it will be connecting to the Stormfront port when using Lich. That is, until the game "crashes". Almost any time the game appears to have crashed, it has really just disconnected anyone using the Stormfront port. If you try to log in using Lich and the WizardFE while the Stormfront port is down, it will fall back to the Wizard port and coax it into acting like the Stormfront port. If you're using Stormfront, the port number won't change because of Lich. It will still try to fall back to the Wizard port when the game goes down, but it won't work with Stormfront anyway.

I know this is an old one, but for me I had to open port 10024 to connect.
I'm sure you're long gone but hopefully this will help someone else.
