FORGING KATANA'S???

Is it possible to forge a katana?
If not would it be possible in the future to make special merchant-only glyphs for katana's with special requirments before the forging such as:
Master skill level in OHE, THW, and CRAFTING.
Either limited to certain professions or races(erithian and others)
Ability for non-professional/race characters learning from profession/race to be able to create them but at a lesser maximum.


Its just a passing thought I had that seems not to be addressed anywhere I looked(although I didn't look too hard).

Possible, sure. but they don't seem to want to release glyphs for "special" weapons: claidhmores, katanas, and naginatas.

Those would be really awesome GM-held auction items. Maybe a glyph for the hilt and handle with less STAREs than wax. Nothing, mechanically at least, should stand in the way of some extra AvD, DF and flares.
