Wisconsin offers us another glimpse of how state governments save money by eliminating mandates on local governments.
Republicans have introduced bills in each legislative house that would repeal a Department of Natural Resources rule that requires municipal governments to disinfect drinking water.

Liberals are complaining about the move. But why? If a community in Wisconsin doesn't want to spend money on disinfecting water for the entire area, then that should be up to the community, plain and simple. If the community residents don't like it, then they can move or run for office themselves.
