My buddy made a bard..almost same lvl now...
And I don't know... I sort of feel like making a warrior.
I had one years ago, around 24. Loved it. Plate, hit hard, carry tons of boxes, mstrike and berserking was GODlike. Haha.
And I just felt easy to RP a little when I did, and felt right.

Right now I don't really cast as with my bard..probably cause I'm low level and can't really fit it in with GoS stuff. I'd miss sonic flares for sure...
Might miss the "chance" to cast if I ever wanted too, and spells...

But idk....UGHH haha.

Any advice?

TWC/OHE/Brawling, with a bunch of MOC, using dual katars is a lot of fun.

There are very few wrong ways to build a warrior. I personally went the polearm route and swing a lance due to personal preference. The only reason THW builds are more common is due to the number of high end weapons available for THW builds as opposed to polearm. Im not sure what the high end katar market looks like but if youre like me and dont really care about that then just do what appeals to you. Two 4x flaring katars could do some nasty damage with mstrike and berserk.

Alright...well I chose a giant cuz i miss being able to hold a lot of loot.
But...
I can't decide on TWC or THW....
Does being a giant take me out of being a decent TWC user with mstrike?

Or is THW berserking and such just better?

1. No. Berserk makes your mstrike RTs 5 seconds.

2. I prefer polearms or THW to all else because I like ultraviolence.

Yeh, berserking is win in the right situations. Every five seconds you'll either fire off an mstrike or attempt to break a stun/web/bind/whatnot. Though it'll also, if you're ever knocked down, take up a round to stand back up.

Best part about it though is that, while berserking, there's no such thing as being stuck in hard RT.

As a slower race.
What weapons won't make me a snail when hunting normal and not using berserk?
Or is just berserk berserk berserk the way to go for hunting? lol.

Bastard sword for little power good speed, Flamburge for decent speed and power, maul for less speed more power. You can swing them all at 5 seconds with a good agi/dex, though.

Berserk hunting can get you killed very easily, as pures will often gen turtled, and if you can't stop them from casting they may simply cut you down before you can ever land a blow.

I used a bastard sword for a long time, can aim it pretty quick too. I aim a maul at 7 seconds as a dwarf. Also used a 5x two handed sword forever. These are the three weapons I have used, so I can't comment on flam's, pick axes, battle axes, etc. I think quite a few people like katanas, not sure how they compare to bastard swords or two handed swords.

I liked using a two handed sword because I could wspec into it, and it would also give me +AS to my old non magical claid which are two handed sword based. (It appears to be a modified two-handed sword)

The slower 2HW are highly doable regardless of race. Once that agidex gets up there to do a five second regular swing, you're relatively golden- the trick is more along the lines of setting things up for the swing. Feint, disarm, sunder shield, so on. Knockdowns (I suggest bullrush) if you want to go that route, but they aren't too necessary.

And, knowing when to fall back and let swarms disperse.

Primarily, I'm bonded to an 8x blessable bastard sword. Otherwise, I rock a claidhmore like a goon.

See anything over 5 rt..is like FOREVER to me.
Katana's are cool, but everyone seems to always bag on them on here lol.
I need to see what I need to set my stats at to start with a 5rt for a Giantman.

Miss an elf now lol. But then I'd miss the strength if I switched.

So..katana..maul..claid(doubtful)...hm..
