For those of you that don't know, I have a bot set up in TSC doing auto rescue, chrism, raise, and spells.
To get rescued, all you have to do is die in locating range of Wehnimer's and open your group. Use the group_ajar script if you don't want to leave your group open all the time. I can't rescue from the bowels yet.
To get a chrism, just whisper “chrism” to me while dead. You can use the alfred-chrism script to automatically ask for a chrism if your mind is above some threshold. It just runs in the background.
To get raised, you just have to be dead in the room with me. So, either die with your group open somewhere that I can rescue you, or get dragged to TSC.
The bot casts 101, 107, 103, and 202 on almost anyone in the room. If you allow me to check your spell times through LNet, it'll save me a little mana. It checks your spell times at most once per hour. It tries pretty hard to only cast the spells when you need them.
You can get a bunch of other spells by asking. To ask for something, whisper to me or speak at me (say ::alfred bread). Currently, you can ask for these spells: bread, bless, unpresence, locate, water walking, undisease, unpoison, lifekeep, well of life, neutralize curse, uncurse, raise dead, light blues, deep blues, powerful look, dims, purify air, disease resist, poison resist. You can also ask by spell number.
Asking for a raise doesn't actually do anything unless you've made it onto the no-auto-raise list somehow (like doing an unlink confirm after I link). It will tell you why I haven't raised you yet, such as how much time is left on my raise dead cooldown, or if I'm waiting for spirit or mana. The only time you'd have to ask for lifekeep is after dropping it with unlink confirm.
Chrism raises cost 20k each, and you must have a balance with the bot of at least zero silvers to get a chrism raise. Since you can't pay me while dead, you can just hand me a note for 20k after getting a chrism to bring your balance back up to zero. If you die with a negative balance, you can't get a chrism. I don't accept silvers because I don't want to deal with getting the bot stuck from encumbrance.
I need orb gems to make chrisms, and I don't hunt. So here's how we fix that...
Hand me uncut diamonds and emeralds. You can use the alfred-deserves-gems script to automatically hand me the gems from your lootsack. The bot will slowly check the gems for orbs using 325. If the gem is not an orb gem, you get credited for the same amount that the gem sells for at the gemshop. If the gem is an orb, you get credited 19k. You can use this balance for chrism raises, or withdraw some or all of it by whispering “withdraw <amount>” or just “withdraw”.
Even if you don't need chrism raises, you can make some extra silvers by handing me your uncut diamonds and emeralds, and you'll be providing chrisms for people that have silvers but can't find enough diamonds and emeralds.
