You know it's time to do laundry when you pull out a shirt from the "worn before but not quite dirty yet" pile, and there's a ticket to the first round of the NCAA Tourney in the breast pocket.

I'll see you all in a coupla hours.

I don't rewear shirts. Pants, sure, but shirts? Ehhh. It's not that long of a walk to the washing machine for me. Next year I might start, though. Stupid not-in-the-same-building washing machines. :grr:

How many times do you wear a shirt before it goes in the wash? I'm not talking like undershirts (they last a day for me before they go in the pile).

I'm talking dress shirts, not t-shirts or undershirts which directly touch my skin.

I usually go 2-3 times per shirt.

I wonder how many meals for poor starving crackheads could have been purchased for the price of that ticket.

And to think, I thought Naessi was so nice in-game. You suprised me with your character attacks, SG.

I used to love going to the laundromat. Even on days when the snow was a foot up my leg! In fact, -especially- when the snow was a foot up my leg. That was THE best time. All hot and humid in the building, with the smell of clean clothes and fabric softener..and magazines all over the tables for people to read, and interesting people to talk to.. and other people to watch..

Grab a cup of coffee from the diner next door after you put the wash in, go back, have a seat, and watch the world. It was always such a zen thing for me!

I miss my laundromat days, and loathe going down to our cold damp unfinished basement all by myself to toss clothes in the machine now. I only do the laundry when I'm out of underwear.

I never wear anything twice... but I love doing laundry. That make me weird? I like fabric softener and folding laundry..... I'll stop not before I make myself look like even more of a geek.

Nah, that was the afternoon game. Even though Tamral might not believe me, I was working.

I was there for the evening games. UConn crushing someone, and DePaul/Dayton.

Ugh I HATED doing laundry when we had to go to the landry mat.

Our new house is situated so that the landry room is outside on the back porch. So I have to open the back door and turn left and open my landryroom door. Problem is...when I need pants or a shirt that is in there I scurry out there in just my bra in underwear REAL FAST in order to get them.

My neighbors love me.

Leloo, I will fly you to AZ and you can live with me and do mine and my boyfriend's laundry for us...um you can live in the spare bedroom..and you even get your own bathroom!

I hope he takes along someone that knows CPR. He's old isnt he? 50 or something right? Heh.

edited to add the 'Heh' in case he's actually only 40. Besides, 'dirty old man' is a state of mind not an age. God, I am making it worse. Must stop typing.........

I was considering not responding to this... but hell, why deny myself? I am not Naessi. She is not me. Please refrain from comparing me, on the boards, being argumentative, to Naessi, in game, being however you encountered her.

Also, she's not REALLY that nice.
