What would be the most useful CMANs to spend points on while leveling 1-30 as a warmage in order to speed up hunts?

CMan Feint. After that it's all defensive ones.

I think I was doing 5 ranks of feint and 4 ranks of disarm. I'm not sure if it's changed but when I was going strong it wasn't possible for a mage to get more than that.

Agreed, unless you wanna pick up the one that gives you defense from all the Cman maneuvers as well.

Master Feint, then Disarm, then fill out with CDEf.

1 second Feints are money as hell. I haven't gone a hunt without using it since I first picked up rank 1.

A wizard doesn't have enough cman points to do all that. I recommend 5 ranks of cdef and 4 or so of disarm or feint.

Cdef didn't exist when I was active. Yeah you're going to have enough points for 5 ranks of one cman and 4 of another. Were I to do it now it would be 5 of cdef and 4 of disarm. Feint is good but you've got call wind.
