Huge change to my AS/DS what gives?

Ok so I started hunting in offensive in the sewers and at level 4 had a 72 as and a 71 ds. I got hit in the eye and got it healed up. Now I have a 58 as and a 17 ds in offensive. What would cause such a drastic change? I did not have any buffs that I know of, and if I did they lasted for about 6 hours before the change to as/ds. Do you get a buff for using a travel token, or starting a new character or something?
