Not sure if Willington's was full or half plate but it was nice. Similar to the one Prance is selling (if not the same) so you should hit him up with a PM, see who's selling it for lower.
I wouldn't bother with GSAuctions prices.

Be prepared to pay around 40-50m for a set. I got a steal on mine but would expect that price range if I were looking for another set. I believe Grim has a set too, might wanna check with him.

my problem with that and your evaluaiton of the market on them is

A. I know of a nicely altered 6x hcp full plate set weighing 30 some pounds that sold for 30 to 35 mil a couple months ago and thats like 20 pounds lighter than his.
B. I kind of think I saw one or two other sets around that time sell for under 40 to so how is the market a couple months later supposed 10 to 15 mil higher?

Even if I had that people are getting to want waaaay to much for their gear

Forget the 6x if you want HCP plate. Just get 4x and buy the PPs to get it done. Issue solved. If I was going to buy Prance's, it'd be for the spike/flare/max lightened versus the extra two enchants. 10 DS isn't enough to matter yet everyone wants to pay 10-12 mil extra for it. I guess if you have the silvers to just blow.

I completely understand your evaluation. It's just supply and demand. There have been a few people who lucked out and were able to purchase it when others weren't looking for it and people were trying to leave the game. That doesn't mean the value of the item dropped, it means that person got lucky in their circumstances.

If you're willing to wait, and have patience to get your FP, you can find great deals. If you're throwing up "wanted" threads, expect to pay what people are asking for it because they know you're demanding what they have and may not have been looking to sell.

In short, just wait it out until you find a deal, it certainly wont be dropped in your lap when you're asking for it.

I got slammed for the price being too low by more than a few people, so there are more than a few people who think the price should be higher. I paid 30 mil for it 2 months ago, and it was on the market for at least a month at that price... It really depends on timing. The last few sales of these I've seen have been flat priced, it'd be interesting to see what they'd actually get up to in a week long auction.
