+27 Small shield enhansive +5dex bonus

Looks like I am wrong, it is +5 DEX Stat, +8 shield use BONUS and +6 MIU Bonus. I didn't mean to lead anyone in the wrong direction with this. I'll restart the bids.

Is that 5 to dex stat? Seems like a low level to be 5 to bonus.

Plus you can't hold +27 at level 9 anyway, that is a weird enhancive.

The amount of trains is linked to the enhancive, not the item itself. Ignore that it says level 9 and read it like as soon as you can hold this. It's not uncommon to see. Look at all the vultite that can't be used til level 10 with enhancives you can't use til you are level 1-9.

When you loresing it always has the word bonus in it. My guess is that's a bonus of 5 to Dexterity. It's probably not a bonus of 5 to the Dexterity bonus. If it was the requirement would be higher, just like ranks over skill bonus.

Here's a decent example though from something I am selling:
It provides a bonus of 7 to Dexterity.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 17 times.
Versus:
It provides a bonus of 4 to Dexterity Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 22 times.

Can't hurt to sing to it again, but I doubt the info provided will change.

I read this as +5 to Dex. Reinforced by the level limitation. I see where you are going and why, but some simple math/experience/deduction will pretty much show it's not +5 to Dexterity bonus.

It's not that it's an unfair question to be asked, stat or stat bonus. It's just simple to resolve. I posted the answer, so he doesn't need to chase after another bard in game was all. Barring some outrageous and very unlikely outlier, it should very well be +5 to Dex. There are other items on Playershops with +5 to Dex (not bonus), all with a level 9 limitation.

That's what I said. I was illustrating with my own item that +7 to Dex is level 17, as level 9 (for +5 to dex) and 17 are in line with each other, while a bonus of 4 to Dex bonus is out of line with needing to be level 22 to use.
