I read a few threads and discovered no real solution to this:

I log in using the lich program using SF, then see the following:

-- Lich v4.2.7 is active. Type ;help for usage info.

Please wait for connection to game server.

No error message, no nothing.. I'm able to see what others do in game but when I try typing any commands it just pauses, then kicks me out. My connection lasts about 30 seconds.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the software (through control panel etc.) worked for about 3 days, then I had the same problem again.

I had psinet before but all files were deleted. Any suggestions?

Try setting Stormfront to store scripts locally.

It worked without a hickup, thanks Tillman.

Any way to solve this without making the scripts local? Just in case my computer dies from a virus (*knocks on wood*) and I lose the scripts? or so I can use the scripts on SF from another computer?

The other way to fix it is to wait for the problem to happen, and then log in on Stormfront once without Lich and let it upload or download the scripts, or whatever it's doing. Then you should be able to log in with Lich again. However, saving your scripts on Simu's server is a common way of randomly losing your scripts.
