I've been away from the game for a while. How do the orbs work? (do you rub to activate? Are they crumbly? rechargable? Can you have more than one?

Orbs need to be put into fusion armor, shield, or weapon. (I believe you "push" the orb into the item, but have to admit I've only done it once and may be misremembering the verb). The fusion gear is not currently available in any normal shops - you had to pick some up at EG or buy from the various players/playershops that are reselling from EG.

All of the released items have 2 slots (but you can use just one).

From there, you can treat it just like a normal enhancive item (well, except you can "pry" the orbs back out. If the item still has charges, you'll want to "blow" on it first to empty the charges because... well, I forget why).

When you initially put the orb(s) in an item, it'll have 0 charges so you'll need to go to the Adventurers' Guild to get it charged.
