So I wanted a DVD player in my car right, and I didn't feel like dropping the change for one so.... I've got a laptop with a good screen and a DVD player in it I went to Sears and picked up a converter for my car battery that plugs into the cig lighter. Plugged the laptop powersupply into it and now I've got a DVD player that also has games, wireless card and some software for hopping on unsecured wireless networks (gotta love suburbia). Now I just need to figure out a decent looking mount because currently it's passenger held (the plus side to this is the power cord is long enough it reaches any seat and it sits nice and snug on my arm rest in the middle so the back seats have a good view.)

Isn't a sudden stop going to make a mess of things?

Isn't watching tv, playing games and cybering, all while driving, distracting?

Thats what I thought, too. Then he mentioned giving the back seat riders a good view. Surely Anticor wouldn't be crazy enough to try all that at once!

<--- Did the same thing on a roadtrip to florida, worked like a charm. And I use the wireless laptop to warhack while I get parking in nyc. Sometimes a "spot" doesnt become parkable until a certain time and you have to kill 40 minutes in your car.
Good deal.
