Someone must know how to stream this live for free. The .torrent is usually available an hour or so after it's over, and I don't feel like paying $60. To break even I'd have to bet $320 on Silva. Not gonna happen.

Google "ufc 126 streaming free." There are a fuckload of links.

PS - I would be interested in such a link as well.

So a link to a link with hundreds of links that don't work? I want a direct link to one that works. That's it. I'll have the torrent once it's over anyways, but was just trying to find a stream doesn't involve DLing software, click throughs, spam, ads, etc.

I was surprised he choked out Bader to be honest.

LMingrone

I knew about his reach. Since I'm an idiot though, I never thought about the kind of advantage he'd have in chokes. Shogun and JJ should be a great fight. go JJ

LMingrone

I think they were calling it a "darth (darce) choke" he kept going for. Not many people have the arm length to pull that off.

lightwellspam
02-05-2011, 11:36 PM
he was going for the darce, but even then, to pull a guillotine from side is impressive. Jones vs Rua will be a fight worth watching. Definitely a good card so far, although the bantamweight fight was crap. Here's to hopin griffin vs franklin is a gatti ward

I dont think silva will have a choice. Belfort will take the fight to him, win or lose.

Taking the fight to someone that can kill you with a kick to the face is scary. About to start. Didn't bet on this one, but wrote it down in my "would have" book as $300 on The Spider. That's only paying +260 still though :(

you know after tonight, I have to say, one fight that'd definitely be worth watching. Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva.

gotta give the card a solid A-. Best one in a while.

So, Dana White already said, if GSP beats whoever is next, GSP vs Anderson.
I can't honestly see that being too competitive. Spider is HUGE compared to GSP, and he's gotta be a good 25-30 lbs heavier. Spider vs Rua, or Spider vs Jones, I think, would be far more exciting fights to watch.

LMingrone
02-06-2011, 12:32 AM
Who has a better Nickname than Silva? He even plays around with his prey before he puts the stinger in. Dana White hates how boring Silva is until he kicks someone else in the head and makes him millions.

I just had an idea. I want to see an MMA minor league (UFC has the money to do it) that has match types like fake wrestling. Tag team MMA would rawkkkk.

What the UFC needs, is a fight like a Frye-Takayama. I was hoping Griffin Franklin would be like that, but oh well, still a great card in the end.

I used one of the Veetle links that seemed to work fine for the most part. You are required to download a program, but it was on cnet, so I downloaded it from there. It was "HD" so it was clearer than most of the other links I tried as well had better sound.

I'd like to thank Torres, Silva, Griffin, and Jones for a respectable parlay victory. Anyone who bet against Silva or Jones needs to get their head checked.

If BJ Penn beats Jon Fitch, he wants a crack at Anderson Silva, after Silva fights GSP and Okami.

Fallen

That's a lot of weight for Penn to move up. 2 weight classes? He couldn't beat the champ at one up, I don't know how he would do against another on top of that.

So that means he'll gas after 1 round as opposed to 2 or 3?

And only you would bring up a supposed rumor that was being circulated at an afterparty in Vegas.

Supposed rumor as in, a lot of people were talking about it, including some UFC brass. Nobody said it was happening, just that it is supposedly what BJ Penn wants.

As for moving up two weight classes, look at his history. BJ has fought from everything from 155 to heavyweight in his career, so its no as far stretched as you think.

Yeah, BJ Penn has never fought at heavyweight, at least not in the UFC. Thanks though.

And if he did, he fought HW in Japan where the rules are much different.

I never said he fought at heavyweight in the UFC. But he fought at middleweight in K1, winning both of his matches at that class against Rodrigo and Renzo Gracie, and he fought Lyoto Machida at heavyweight (Machida weighed 220, 15 over the limit for light heavyweight), BJ was 191, the match was ruled a heavyweight bought) and lost a 3 round decision.

I'm sorry. You said that BJ Penn has fought at HW. He has not.

The Machida fight was an open weight class bout. Penn looked like a fat piece of shit, and he lost because he gassed. He has never fought in a HW fight. He has never fought in a LHW fight.

One of the most lopsided fights of two superstars I ever watched was Silva vs. Griffin. It was never close and I really thought Forrest looked SO bad that he might not ever fight in the UFC again.

BJ Penn would offer the same type of challenge to Silva.
