Anyone have any idea what causes this?

For some reason, I can't log into the game with with one of my characters. All other chars are fine. When I log in everything looks fine then this happens:

--- Lich: lnet active.
--- Lich: updater active.
--- Lich: infomon active.
[infomon: checking stats...]
--- Lich: updater has exited.
--- Lich: infomon has exited.
--- Lich: lnet has exited.

No error messages, just what you see (along with the usual game info for room and what not) and only when I try to log on with with one specific character. The other seven or so work fine. Anyone?

This happened to one of my characters before--I think the only real reason Tillmen found once was someone using a spell knowledge enhancive that messed with the XML or something.

In my case (and others) signing in through Java, or through Wizard, or some other way than you normally sign in and then moving your character a few rooms and signing out has solved the problem.

Log in through the website and move to a different room.

This has happened to me when I log out while in the forge.

I tried this. I even logged in through Java and put on my gift box enhancive that I usually forget to take off after hunting. It was off so I tried putting in on, same result.

I logged back in through Java and moved a few more rooms and took the enhancive back off. Still the same. Any other ideas? Suggestions?

Tillmen suggested I store my SF scripts locally, but I'm not sure how you can do that when you can even remain logged in for 3 seconds.

If I have to scrap it all and start over I would, but I R a techtard. Odds are I'll break even more stuff.

i am also having this issue on just one character. i have set it to store scripts locally. logged in through the browser, dragged the body a few rooms and still getting the disconnect. the disconnect is now also occuring while im not even using lich but just the normal FE through the site. is there another suggestion by chance?

If it happens without Lich running, reinstall Stormfront.
