We’re not dead! We didn’t disappear; yes we’ve been re-evaluating and are continuing to do so. We’ve lowered silver prices to 10 per up to 40m and 8per over and this week we’ll be listing a ton of items more than likely over 200!
I also want to take this time to ask what kind of features would you like to see on the site? For example, We could allow item sales by all members not just character sales, or should we look into shattered sales? Please post here or email Sales@GSAuctions.com

Lower prices to be more in line for what they're selling for. 7 per at least. 6 per in large blocks.

We'll never be as low as an individual seller, for many reasons including: We purchase our items/coins we don't farm them. We have over heads such as account(s) website(s) Marketing etc, we absorb fees on all accounts/coins/items we pay cash for. However we do try and stay competitive with our pricing and hope that the small price difference is worth it to our customers to have a satisfying and secure experience.

So you purchase the coins that everyone (for the most part) sells them at and then turn around and charge a premium. Right.

I'm glad that you posted and are looking for feedback. I check your website daily as part of my GS routine.
My suggestions:
#1 - Allow anyone to post items for sale.
#2 - Create or get someone to create a LICH script plugin that will get all the information about an item you're holding? and post it directly to your website.
In other words, you're creating one MASSIVE AUCTION/playershop that any character can add to from anywhere in the game.
If you were to offer something like this I think you would see a lot more traffic to your site. I also think it would help gemstone by recreating some of that black amunet feel. If it were possible to echo the items as they were added to everyone in the game, you have a global black amunet again of sorts.
That's an interesting idea, I have no background in LICH but we'd be willing to pay for these types of plug ins.

Don't rag on Bruce. He's not forcing anyone to sell to him or buy from him, but many people do for the convenience and security. If you don't like his policies, then just don't deal with him. The fact that he's still around is telling.

Can you also add a make me an offer link? If the MB is too high on something, which it almost always is if you look at playershops, it would be helpful if people could bid up the make me an offer part almost as if it's a real offer that met the MB. The seller could decide whether to lower the asking price and take it or watch and see if someone else comes along and registers a, I'll buy it at this price kind of thing.
Bring back haggling instead of a flat out, its overpriced, not interested.

Seriously, that is some classless threadjacking there, Mogonis.
GSAuctions is pretty much a go to place for more casual players without knowledge or insight into who is a raging douchebag scammer. They're a good point to start for returning players who aren't in the know.
You hear plenty of stories about even reputable sellers going south (Zimzum). Some people you'd think were good turning out to rip people off sometimes.
I think you need to dig through those buyouts more often and post up goods. I check in from time to time but your inventory has been roughly the same for months now.

Hell I've used them several times because when it comes down to it the peace of mind of knowing your getting exactly what they tell you and no tricks. They're reasonable people and fairly easy to deal with.
As far as topic goes, I'm always interested in the ability to search your previous sales that have taken place and it usually helps get an idea of what you can list your character or whatnot at with a trend to work with.

This. There is a big convenience when shopping with GSAuctions. While their silvers are expensive, they always have silvers in just about any amount you want. They are nearly always available to contact, and can come to you wherever you like. They are also 100% reliable, whereas many times the only people selling silvers are those you've never heard of before. The option to bargain shop is always available, but sometimes you pay a hefty convenience fee when you need something right now without the hassle.
As for suggestions, you guys need to buy a capped ranger and start selling imbeddables and max capacity rods.

Chalk up another voucher for GSAuctions.
I used them to cash out around 200 million silver during my last year playing Gemstone. If memory serves, I got something like $7 per million, and they ate the transaction fee.
I probably could have squeezed out another 15% going free market, but it absolutely was worth the peace of mind and not having to deal with multiple transactions.

Satisfying? Like the time I bid and won a fixstat potion from your site and got zero replies to my numerous emails regarding paying for and picking up the item?
...yeah.
I've had three attempted transactions with gsauctions. The first one went off without a hitch. The second I had to chase them down after having an account issue and lost out on the item. Then I bought the fixstat and they didn't return a single email. Honestly, 1/3 isn't satisfying in the least. That being said, they've dropped their prices decently on a few items.

I was thinking something visible so everyone could see the offer being made and they would have an opportunity to top it.
It would also be a "back up list" if the seller decided they wanted to take the highest offer currently on the table. It's like the buyer has a reserve price and the item won't be sold until it meets the reserve price but here is a list of everyone who wants it, and what they'll pay.
Example:
I list something for 10m.
Buyer A comes along and likes the item but doesn't have 10m, so they place an offer of 5m.
-- That offer of 5m will be listed visibly on the page where it lists the item under "Current Offers".
-- The Seller then has the option to accept the 5m bid, or just leave the offer on the table.
Buyer B comes along and likes the item, doesn't have 10m, but has more than 5m, so he places a 7m offer.
-- The offer of 7m will be listed visibly on the page above the 5m offer under current offers.
-- The Seller then has the option to accept the 7m bid, or just leave the offer on the table.
The Seller decides they are ready to sell the item, but notices the offers haven't met the minimum bids.
The Seller then accepts the 7m bid and the auction completes.
The only stipulations I would add are:
-- An item will not be listed for more than 48 hours. -- This encourages more frequent use and helps to keep out clutter.
-- The Seller has the option to relist the item after 48 hours without having to re-add the details. -- But make it convenient to use at the 48 hours.
-- The Offerer also has the option to remove the offer if they decide they don't want to wait on the chance it will sell for that price.
I would heavily use this type of system and I think a lot of people would enjoy it. It's an auction site that won't get cluttered up with unsold junk because people can haggle the price (visibly) and possibly haggle the price up to a point where the seller will accept it, concluding a transaction.
Another thing I would change about the website is the way the information is displayed.
For containers:
Item description, Item weight, Item capacity, Special
For Armor:
Item description, Item weight, ASG, Enchant, Special
Don't make me drill into each item to see the important information. Making it quick and easy to find what you want is invaluable. (http://shops.lichproject.org/home/advanced)

I used this site when I first came back about 6 months ago and they had fast, friendly service. However, I found that every item I bought ended up worth considerable less than what I paid(most at least 50%) on the current market. Is the it nice to have peace of mind? Yes. Is it worth it to me in particular to pay that much more? Def not, but maybe it is to others. Good luck to you.
