coupla questions about empaths

hey, i have a friend who is an empath, but she has some weird things going on with her char that neither her nor i can explain.

first off she is a half elf and trained thus:

questions are as follows:
she has RT when transfering wounds from other players, my empath doesn't and we don't know why.

and she can only take blood down to half of her own blood, won't let her take any more than that, my char can kill herself by taking blood and we don't know why

anyone got any clues as to why this is?

heh, ok, gotcha, i didn't know that one, cause i never use it, does that affect the 50% health thing too?

Like Tayre said, trans any will only let you go down to 50% of your own blood for safety reasons. Also, Trans any has a small RT with it and gives the empath less experience when they use it.

If she's complaining about her self-healing RT, tell her to study more transformation lore.

Trans any will lower exp gain after level 20 (I think).

I think the lowering of exp gain with Trans any starts at level 10 and caps out at level 20. I'm not sure what the increments are for exp reduction but from level 20 on up an empath only gets 50% exp on a wound transferred using 'any'.

(At least thats how I think it goes. Mechanics are so not my strong suit. )
