Ok, well, after selling some stuff, I'm going to sell some more. Most of these been sale at one time or another, but not all, but I am serious about moving the majority of them (not all, depends on the bids) as most not been used in well over a year or more. Gonna downgrade to the stuff I need to run my main guys I do play, and keep them outfitted.

I will take trades that help me out. I will keep playing my cleric, archer rogue, hurling warrior.

Feel free if you buy it, but I won't ruin an artifact in any way.

I've done a LOT of work to that armor after rescuing it from Wadsworth's shop (RIP Wads (no, not his player!))

It was 5x hdp when i got it from his shop before it got repo'd. Its been put thru the wringer for sure. Heh.

But stripping a self mana item, nah, I couldn't do that.

He has a point though. The spell is rather useless.

Yeah yeah, you've told me the history behind a gazillion times now. The point is heal1 is a complete waste of a spell and it only adds a large phantom cost to the item.

Why would you strip it? What could you do with it if it were stripped?

Mogonis

I'm not the one who wants to. I'm just agreeing that it's useless and needlessly increases its value.

how's it work? rub armor>get acantha leaf, eat leaf, wait 5 sec or whatever...

Very nice armor.

Convenience can add hundreds of millions to an item. That is all.

Doesn't 801 restore only 10 health?

801 is far from a useless spell.

How so? And how does it equate to an additional 100m+ on the armor?

I am assuming the activation only induces a casting RT, so it would allow you to heal up between swings if you're getting nicked. The Heal2 seems more pertinent, but still a nifty relic and possible roleplay mechanic?

A) Many rogues do not have near the PF training the average warrior does, so they have less health/recovery/etc so the tiers of drop-off for health (AS, and whatever else it affects) come quicker. Unless they are post-cap.

B) younger warriors go for heavy armor first, and PF second as the average, so it is ideal until PF is up to snuff (which usually doesn't happen until they are a decently mid-range level)

C) you can rub it with a weapon in hand, or with a free right hand (if you are an archer) which means no drops of DS in the field... Particularly important when creatures run into a room with weapons out and ready to fire (Ithizir, rift, etc).

D) Unlimited 801 with a little HP training that can be done mid-battle is very nice for grimswarming/bandits (if you happen to get trapped). I know my unlimited 801 saved my ass more than once.

As to adding 100 mill to the pricetag, that is something to debate with Paul... But with those sorts of armor it is rarely a straight-line increase in value, and as has already been mentioned 100 mill for convenience is not that rare (ebows anyone?)

Androidpk

I'm aware it's not rare for convenience to add that much to a price but it's also not very practical. And certainly not for this armor where you have a nicely padded set of plate that can be used by "x" amount of people but only "y" amount would actually use the 801 component.

ok, bid on a the spirit spell staff...

working on a bid for the ebow..

Lots of bids on the DBs, between all the trades, silvers, etc, trying to compare the deals, as I said, i won't sell em all, but 10x in db going to go, the cloak or the ring/boots.

Bid on the other stuff!

An auction tent?

Androidpk
02-01-2011, 12:15 PM
It's from last years EG. Tent that pops up and acts as a little mini-sanctuary. The auction tents can hold 1 other person and won't fall down due to critters coming into the room.

Stry
02-01-2011, 12:18 PM
Mmm, Nice. I didn't realize they'd be worth 80+ mil I guess.

Would be interesting to use in a warcamp though. Or to position outside a warcamp with a big ass altered sign that says "GTFO Avantos has this camp!"

I'm sure they'd go for that in Shattered ;)

Androidpk
02-01-2011, 12:20 PM
Yeah, really useful for camps and the rift.

Stry

Oh, damn. I hadn't even considered the Rift or Nelemar.

Can't the auction tents hold 4 people instead of just two like the regular ones?
