Ok guys. We got like 15 inches of snow, freakin AWESOME!!!!
I piled half of the driveway full of snow onto this HUGE pile like 8 feet high. I plan on making a GIGANTIC igloo and I shall post pics.
Pls post YOUR snow fun and/or just flame IW.

Spray the pile down with water, let it freeze, and then get out your axe or shovel. Works well that way.
Don't forget pour hot water over any steps you have and leave it to do its work. Works better at keeping snow off them than a kilo of salt, mate.

Cut the cord off an old appliance and wire one side to the front door lock and the other side to the handle/knob. Plug it in. This will keep your locks from freezing.

It will also blow your circuit breaker and possibly melt or ignite something.

I have been informed that I am a killjoy. For the record let me just state that I think a blown circuit breaker (and potential electrical fire) would totally be a reasonable price to pay for the look on the face of the first person who tried to open your door.

we didn't do it yet. she's pregnant and she's studying tonight. would be hard for her to do a lot of rolling around in the snow. might not be able to until the NEXT snowstorm, so we'll have a massive igloo of doom. she likes playing in snow. why do you ask this strange question?
I mean.. you know me.. a little better than I think most people do on here.. didn't you see the pics of our snowman creation with the neighbors kids?!
am I some kind of evil sinister patriarch bent on forcing my woman into submission?!
