I became an apprentice at an instrument a very long time ago. Recently I started playing that same type of instrument, and oddly enough, I got some messaging about how I felt more experienced playing the tambourine???

So I PLAY SKILL, and it says that I'm still an apprentice? But after a few music messages, I notice that I'm playing better as well.

In the last 3 days I have continued to play and gotten three more of the "more experienced" messages, and they way that I play has gotten better too. But when I play skill, it still tells me I am an apprentice. I had a percussion master play a tambourine the same style and identically with me, and there was almost no difference except for when he ended the song or switched to another rhythm.

Just wondering how I keep on getting more "skilled" and remain an apprentice. Thanks.

Not sure if it's the answer you're looking for or not.. but I think only a bard can master an instrument. I'm pretty sure they're the only ones that can tune them as well. Perhaps the messaging won't go above Apprentice for that reason. Not knowing all the ranks involved with instruments, I can't tell you how many more there would be.

If your not a bard I do not believe you can go above apprentice.

^^^

I have heard and I am stoopid warrior.

Just kind of weird that I'm a measly apprentice and basically play the same as a Bard Master of that instrument.
