And just so i'm not confused with enhancives in general.

If the STR enhancive wears out, this will crumble?

Or can I drain it and still recharge it?

And yes, from what I understand, the item will crumble if you allow the enhancive charges to completely drain, so keep it charged at the Adventurer's Guild!

If you drain the magic charges, once you put a spell in it, the item will not crumble and you can have a mage recharge it.
