I saw something on the Smithsonian channel about these people in russia that domesticated foxes in 4 generations by taking out the ones that were violent towards people. The cool thing was that the foxes started to LOOK like domesticated dogs after the 'violent gene' was bred out of them and some even started to get spots. Like out of fucking no where. Spots. But the domesticated ones would not fight for their food or mates. If released into the wild they created normal foxes within 1 generation. I've been looking for professional publications on this study. Cant find it.
