Firstly, I quit gemstone, AGAIN. And to all those people who called me fat, morbidly obese (which was true) screw you guys. Seriously, what good is calling someone fat? I've been called a fat ass halfway thru my whole life...but you know what I did something about it. And you know what? I don't care if you tease me. I don't care anymore, I know how I Look and I know myself so that is what matters, not what any of you haters think. To the supportive people, thank you.
I started in June 2009.
I've lost 78 lbs now. I was 250 I'm currently 169. I'm 5'7''.
I've been lifting weights 5 days a week for a year .
Still got alot of loose skin but I don't care.
I went from morbid obesity (a size 50 waist almost) to a size 33 waist.
So you know what, I made this thread to inspire others. You can do it i fyou have enough desire and persistence. I am not done losing weight yet.
And for the hater who said earlier who made fun of me, on my persistence quote "Never give up", who mocked it and said "Never give up, never surrender." That's what makes people great.

Keep it off for five years, and then maybe I'll be impressed.

I've kept it off for a year. I lost the majority of it in 6 months. I'm never going back.
To anyone else who wants to learn how, I can teach them. I had to change my nutrition completely. And I learned how to cook.

Yeah, I had a similar experience and a similar mindset... but shit happens.
Anyway, post again in five years. Until then you are just a fatty in disguise.

You should run. Not sure if it will help loose skin but running is addictive and it will help keep the weight off.

I know a bunch of people that lost shit loads of weight to join the Marine Corps. The only way to get rid of their loose skin was surgery.

Yeah, its distressing. I'm not sure how much weight to lose honestly. And thanks for your sincere response. Already starting to see the outline of the abdomen.

That was actually pretty funny.
Good job.
PS. You do not need to prove anything to the PC. It's a fair bet we will not take it seriously.

You're also getting much better at your trick.
Grats on losing weight - grats on posting pics without bunnies...
But like someone else said, don't try and prove anything to people here on the PC, chances are we'll quote your post and mock you for years to come, even if it's nothing major.
Also, running is not addictive Rojo, WTF are you thinking. I cant stand running. CANT STAND IT WOMAN. But I'll make you a nice chocolate yummy to eat when you get done - I'll even find a vader mold for it. <3 Rojo

This. One of my real good friends from the Corps had to get surgery to get rid of it, he dropped something like 200 to get to basic and then dropped 100 more. Seeing old picks of him at 450lbs is just insane. Dude's a total health nut now I'm pretty sure when he shits it comes out with a nutrition label.
Warclaidhm you look much better, keep it up. You're still a douche but at least now you're a much healthier douche.

168.5 today.
Since i was ovefat at the start, and weight lifting 5 days a week (shoulders, back, legs, chest) i seemed to have gained some muscle.
I wonder what a healthy wieght would be at..the loose skin is deceptive.
Thank you diethx. and thank you anticor, I never thought I'd hear a compliment from you.

Okay, sure: Yes. Everyone here was/is/will be calling you fat. All the time. Constantly. Same as it always was. We dream about it. When we're not dreaming, we dream about having dreams about you and calling you fat or something. Agh.

By addictive do you mean you have a felony warrant and you have to keep running from the cops or they'll put you in jail and you'll get buttraped? Because that's about the only way I could get "addicted" to running.

For 5'7" I'd say a good weight is probably 10 more pounds, unless you're working on putting on muscle instead.
Good job man.

176 is the max weight for 5'7" in the USMC. You are considered overweight if you are above that. They do tape you for body fat percentage though, as they allow you to be over if your body fat % is below a certain amount.
I'm at a little under 170, its not terrible, but it doesn't look in shape. Damn my metabolism for going away. I'd say from personal experience that a healthy, in shape weight would be 155-160.
Obviously this is all going on not being a body builder or some shit.
That trick was fucking ace!

168.0 as of today.
But I've been lifting weights since I was morbidly obese, for a year and a half. Since I was overfat, most likely I gained some muscle, and I definitely see it in myself.
I'm currently at 14-15% BF.
I got teh loose skin.
Also, yesterday my blood sugar dropped down to 20. I had to call 9/11. I was shaking terribly, dizzy, very cold/clammy hands, out of breath, and extremely hungry. pulse was 136 at rest.
They gave me some sugar and it brought it up to 90. They said it was anxiety. I am not convinced. My mom has hypoglycimia, and her dad has it. My dads history has a history of heart disease.

You have to decide how you want your body to look, Kevin.
You could lose yet more weight and join our friend Johnny Hipster McYuppieville:
http://fashionfeen.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/1471969301_efc0e81cac.jpg
OR you could put on more muscle and weight and be like our friend Sven McMuscles VIII:

I lost 60 pounds in college and have kept it off. The loose skin will go away if you work and tone the areas that need it and do cardio. Unless you were a fucking fat slob like Drew Carey. Then you'll need surgery.
In the end, I decided to be like this guy:

Sorry.
Glad you like the vanish. Took 3-8 hours of practice everyday for a year.

The goal was to do it better than anyone in the world. I still haven't achieved that.
Although the creator of the trick tells me it's just as smooth as him now. I don't believe it.
