I'm making some bolts and need to know the appropriate time to flip to change the description of the bolt. The bolt comes out now as a fiery orange heavy crossbow bolt. The show is:
This bolt has been crafted from fiery orange faewood. A single colored band of viridian encircles the back end of the bolt. At the very back end, glossy black raptor fletchings stand out and ensure a steady flight towards its target. At the business end of the bolt, a mithril arrowhead glints in the ambient light. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
I need it to look like a viridian banded faewood.... Any help is appreciated as always.

I haven't done it in a long time but I'm pretty sure you need to flip the shaft before you glue the fletchings in place.

The flip verb does in fact have to be used before fletching the shaft. Now my issue is that I am unable to get the bolts that I am fletching to look the way I would like. The list of materials follows:
Heavy Crossbow Shafts
Faewood
Raptor Feathers
Fiery Orange Paint
Viridian Paintstick
Mithril Arrowhead (Just for looks)
I want the bolt to look as follows..A viridian banded faewood..
Instead I always get the fiery orange paint in the description. When I use the flip verb I get the following options...
>flip my shaft
Flipping your shaft over in your hand, the first thing you notice is its shaft color, followed by its material, followed by its projectile style.
>flip my shaft
Flipping your shaft over in your hand, the first thing you notice is its material, followed by its projectile style, followed by its shaft color.
>flip my shaft
Flipping your shaft over in your hand, the first thing you notice is its material, followed by its shaft color, followed by its projectile style.
>flip my shaft
Flipping your shaft over in your hand, the first thing you notice is its shaft color, followed by its projectile style, followed by its material.

Any help is appreciated.

I thought that you would paint the bolt and then paint the band or bands on the bolt changing the description of the shaft color again. Can you tell my the process that you have been doing them in?

I paint first then band and still get the paint only in the description. The band only appears when you look at the bolt. When I try just to band with no paint I get neither in the description.
