The twins will overcome the white sox and the royals and win the central division again this year.

Actually i can live with the royals winning but id be pissed if the white sox won as i hate that team and the fans too. Did you see their class as they booed all the AL central all stars when they announced them? That and retards running out on the field eesh.

Was just wondering if im the only baseball fan out there :)

Baseball has destroyed their own fan base by their stupidity over the years. I like the game itself... but pay zero attention to the Major League.

Wow there are sad Indian fans out there like myself! LOL Just kidding I have faith we will come around.

Anyways, since this thread just started and I just got home from Cincy, I thought I would just mention that I got to see Barry Bonds poke one out today. I like the new Reds stadium. Not as good as the Jake, and by far nothing compared to Tiger Stadium or Wrigley, but it is neat and I would suggest if anyone is in the area to check it out!

Problem with baseball is the different markets available to each team. How is Kansas City ever going to win a world series with huge market teams like Yankees, Mets, Redsox, Dodgers, Cubs etc. It sucks, its like a 10 team race. I could of predicted at the start of this year that one of the following 10 teams will win the World Series this year. Yankees, Redsox, Twins, Angels, A's, Mariners, Giants, Braves, Phillies, Cardinals.

I am being very liberal when I say this but I truely doubt that you could have picked the Angels to win the World Series at the beginning of the year last year. You probaly could have done it around august, because I did. I had it eliminated to either the A's or Halos.

I am waiting for my roomate to get done with it but he just bought a book called "Moneyball". The A's never put a ton of money into their baseball program and it tells how the GM of the A's put together such a successful team. Raising a good farm club with players like Zito, Mulder, both Giambe's, Tejada, and more. Teams like that can kill the Yankees. And the Braves don't have nearly as big of pay roll as anyone thinks. Heck they can't even sell out their World Series games.
