the best way I have found to get old threads is to look at your subscribed threads in your user cp

Yeah I eventually found it by searching every thread I ever posted. Somethings wrong with searching for key words though.

I find I get better results using google site:gsplayers.com most of the time anyway.

I use google, but not the "site:" command. People with signatures are easy because you can quote their sig then add a field search. Watch how well it works!

I'd say "Laptop" is a pretty well-defined qualifier. Apparently it's only an issue for THIS FUCKING WEBSITE.

I just use google advanced search to search the site. It's not as good as the real thing (when it works) but search is hopeless right now.

I haven't (particularly) been using Google to do searches: I'm not site:'ing, but rather using an autocomp printthread for PIDs written in BB. So ... yeah, I agree. Even having issues with getdaily. I dunno, maybe someone from JSoft could do remote help with someone who has full ax/s to the admincp, I dunno if they're handing out freebies, plus var sources are breadboxed. Dunno.
