Question-Leveling

I just made my first sorcerer. I am stuck on level 1 bc I cant figure out how to level up. When I go hunting at the catacombs or where the grass snakes are I cant kill anything. Its frustrating. Ive tried goin into all the shops. Its not working. Please, someone help me. Additional info - Im in Ta'Vaalor.

Best thing to do is put all your physical stats up, go 2hd, pick up a claidh or other strong two hander and just dominate for your first 30 days, then convert to a magic build.

It can be tough as a pure in the lower levels. The easiest thing to do is to train in THW and get a claidhmore and just thwack stuff until level 20 or so, or until your 30 days are up. Just before they are, shift your skills back to what you want them to be for the long term. Until level 5, you can also run water to the guards for a few coins and some experience.

For your first 30 days, exactly. Try to get as high as you can level wise because even if you make it to like level 13-15 it's still going to suck being a pure. Level 30 is about where is starts to get nice, and level 40 and beyond is the gravy train.

Pures are incredible at cap, but they pay for it by blowing monkey chunks below level 30ish.

At level 1? Just reroll. You can easily make level 5 in five or six hours.

this may sound stupid, ,but i wanna make sure im understanding. by reroll you mean go to the inn and do that stuff right??

Yep. "Retire character" or whatnot is the option. Make sure you put anything you want to keep in your locker. Anything you have on you will disappear.

Option #4. Didn't know your locker contents stayed with you through a reroll, good to know.

If you just made the character, you're not past your 30 days. It starts as soon as you create the character.
