I been meaning to ask, does the pushdown work when you're using a bow?

Also, despite popular belief, perception doesn't seem to help counter ambush pushdown. At least, I don't see any difference between 10 ranks and 101 ranks.

I think Ambush helps prevent being raped by ambush pushdown. Could be wrong, often am.

There's no pushdown with a bow, although ranged DS is often almost as low. I thought perception did help with reducing ambush pushdown, but bandits are mostly 2x ambush. I think usually 2x ambush is going to trump 1x perception. I am 2x perception and frequently I get pushed down into full offensive by ambushes. Often however, I do not. It could be CM too that prevents pushdown - I don't think it's ambush skill.

Eh, not that I've noticed. I'm fully trained in Ambush (202) with 155 Perception ranks, and bandits still drop my DS like crazy.
