Okay. I don't know how to set this stuff up.

All I know is that WoW is having a hard time and lagging when the internet should be flying on what we got. I'm directly connected via LAN.

I want to set up so my computer is Priority Number #1 since we have 4 computers and an Xbox 360/PS3 running. Not all at once usually.

I don't know how to do this though, I don't know what the Local IP and Remote IP things are or anything down there for that matter.

Anyone have a website that shows you a beginners step by step. Or anyone spell it out for me?

Also is that upload speed low as hell or is that me? Would that effect WoW at all?

Sorry, photobucket, etc... blocked from work.

Doesn't that router have a QoS settings page?

Set your computer up for a static IP if you are using DHCP.
Use that IP in the local
Use 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 for remote IP
Use 0 to 65535 for destination

Profit.

ALrighty. I know how to get to the page where you set up your static IP. I just don't know what the numbers should be.

It doesn't matter.
Most default to something like 192.168.0.x or 10.0..x.x

Just pick a number. For simplicity, look at what your current IP is assigned and set that for your static IP.

Alright how do I find what I put for dns and default gateway?

Could I just go /ipconfig and just use what is listed there?

Okay the DNS, Gateway and DHCP were all the same in ipconfig /all ,so I figured that wasn't right? I went to the homepage of the router and it listed the DNS 1 and DNS 2 and the gateway. It also listed the subnet mask but it was different from the ipconfig one so I didn't change it. I put the others in but when I hit ok it says

Warning : The default gateway is not on the same network segment (Subnet) that is defined by the IP address and subnet mask. Do you want to save this configuration?

Just do ipconfig without the "/all"
