"Starting May 19th 2004, spam that contains sexually oriented material must include the warning “SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT: ” in the subject line or face fines for violations of federal law."

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/04/adultlabel.htm I think this might be good for businesses. You wouldn't believe how much porn spam we receive in our main company customer service e-mail daily. Its ridiculous. I don't see how such a thing would really be enforced though.. :shrug:

Hey, I'm in favor of it. I might even start opening some and forwarding it to the ftc. If I cost one spammer money, it's worth it.

Companies that are concerned about spam have real spam protection that catches the vast majority of sexually explicit spam. This is directed at home users where young children will be checking their mail. It doesn't matter anyway, as alot of spam is from outside the US.
