I hate it.. When I sleep that much I feel like shit for the whole day.

Edited to add - Actually, I've never slept 17 hours, but when I sleep say 12+ on the rare occasion, I feel like dogshit.

I woke up for real at about noon. I just laid around and drifted in and out of dreaming for another 3 hours. After the past 3-4 days, nothing was better than just sleeping.

Any sleep over nine hours just isnt happening for me. Tayre--thats just weird, well at least it wasnt 17 hours straight. You did wake up at one point.

Shit, do you even feel refreshed?

Too much sleep = too few sleep.

Middle is good, as always.

I'm lucky to get 5 hours of sleep in most days.

I also tend to get between 4-6 hours a night normaly.

But....when I'm sick I sleep. I mean SLEEP.

Like 20 out of 24 hours is not at all uncommon. Back when I was in high school it would freak out my poor mom who would want to wake me every several hours to make sure I was alive and stuff Heh.

The good things from this are that
A) I don't have to be awake to feel like crap.

B) I tend to get over nasty bugs faster than most.

Damn.. I have never in life slept that long Skirm. Im slightly jealous but still not sure if I'd want to be unconscious for that amount of time. I bet its like waking from the dead once you open your eyes.

I once slept 18 hours in a row when I had bronchitis. That's my personal record.

I've done the 12+ hours of sleep after I've partied for a couple days. Makes me feel like shit, I don't know if it was the partying or the sleep. Too much sleep makes me feel like crap all the time. Then again you never sleep Drew, so your body must've been enjoying that.

No, I don't get a lot of sleep. Here's a recap of my past few days.

Saturday - Woke up at 7am and volunteered at a children's shelter until noon. I had slept 3 hours the night before and came home and slept until about 7:30ish. Unfortunately that means I was up until about 3-4am Sunday morning.

Sunday- Woke up at about 9 to get ready to drive to Houston for my interview on Monday. Didn't make it out the door until 3pm. That night, only slept about 5-6 hours because I was too nervous.

Monday- Spent most of late morning and early afternoon finding a shirt and tie to wear and ironing out my clothes (and washing out a rust stain from the iron in my NEW SHIRT). Had my interview (WHICH I ROCKED AT), came home and did a load of laundry (so it would be free instead of coming back to SA and paying to do it), didn't get out the door until almost 8pm. Drove for an hour, fighting to stay awake, stopped and got a hotel room for the night. Fell asleep about 11ish.

Tuesday - Woke up wide awake at 2am for WHATEVER REASON, tried to go back to sleep for an hour, decided It wasn't happening so I got up and showered and whatever and was out the door before 4am. Drove the rest of the 220 miles back to San Antonio. Got in my apartment about 6:30, ate a little, went to school at about 7:20am to do some Spanish homework before my 8am class. Went to Chem, then decided to go to Spanish, turn in my homework, and leave. I had PLANNED on taking a nap before Math but Jeremy (a friend) calls and is all "Did I see you walking to your truck!?" (I have Chem with him) and then told me to come over and I was all "I'll make lunch and bring it over, then." So I brought lunch for him since he never has food because he lives in the dorms and is poor and then we played Halo, went to class (which I fought to stay awake in) then played more Halo with Adam then went to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 then played More Halo then I finally made it back home at 9:45pm where I promptly crashed.

And that is why I slept for more than half a day.

I've come out of the field on a Mon. and slept til Wed. Used to do that in High School too. Sleeping away an entire day messes you up because it takes til about noon of that day to fully realize what day you're working on heh.

I haven't had more than 6 hours of sleep in a long time though.

I sleep around 7 hours. When I am done with school, and decide how to run my life, part of it only going to be sleeping every couple of days.

I think my personal record is 13 hours. From 12 on night, to 1 the next afternoon. I had been up for probably 47 hours, and gone through a good deal in the previous 24.

NASA has no idea what they're in for. The guy that interviewed me was all kinds of impressed with me when I was done. They can't announce the recipients of the Internships until the end of this week or something, but he was all "Don't you worry. I'll be calling you in a week." And I was all W00T.

There are many flavors of Drew, you see. There's the online pain in the ass, there's the normal, RL, everyday Drew, then there's the "There's something I want, so I'm going to do everything humanly possible to get it" Drew. This is the Drew he saw. I said all the right things, had all the right answers.

I have people here to thank, too. This was by far the best interview I've ever given. I was talkative, confident, and I also stole a line from Beth (hehe!) and used it in my interview. I think it worked, too.

True, I've seen people stay awake for days on that crap. STAY AWAY FROM THE CRYS! Remember what I told you. :D

Nazi crank is a good way to wean yourself off the crystal meth. Unfortunately, it'll give you a crank addiction. ;)

Crystal Meth is going to really mess you up someday. You maybe in the slow stages of it, but a couple of years down the row, you may either wake up saying what the fuck am i doing to myself or I need the rock. Not a life.

The most I've ever done non-drugged was about 16 hours after Rad-Con a few years back.

While drugged, I was out for nearly 24 hours a few months ago when they had me taking that codine. That shit fucked me up hard core.

Most I've ever slept is like 13-14 hours back in college when I slept pretty much every other day. Also, crystal meth ruins lives, stay away from that crap.

I'm taking acetaminophen with codeine for a sore throat and it's killing me. I slept most of the day away.
