A few things that piss(ed) me off recently:

Complaints Meet Bush Pick for Archive Head (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=513&e=2&u=/ap/national_archivist)

He bandies the term "revisionist historians" around constantly for the supposed vast liberal conspiracy to change history, and yet he wants to appoint a man to head the National Archive that wrote a book based on spurrilous evidence at best, and coming to a conclusion that no court of law ever came to.

White House may seek More Funds For Iraq (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=5&u=/ap/20040421/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_iraq_4)

What? I thought it was only gonna cost 100 billion, Mr. President! Are you saying it could cost.......more? I know you don't like to admit it, but were you WRONG...again? Ack! Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!

Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., said he smelled election-year politics.

"The administration would be well served here to come forward now, be honest about this, because the continuity and the confidence in this policy is going to be required to sustain it," Hagel said. "And that means be honest with the Congress, be honest with the American people.

"Every ground squirrel in this country knows that it's going to be $50 billion to $75 billion in additional money required to sustain us in Iraq for this year."

Next:

The spokesman also deflected questions about whether Bush's coalition in Iraq is unraveling. The Dominican Republic on Tuesday joined Spain and Honduras in announcing it was withdrawing its troops from Iraq.

Ooops.

Current Commercial(s) which bother me:

Zantac commercials which snipe Prilosec. "Prilosec only works in 2 to 3 DAYS. Zantac works now. Zantac....'for people who hate to wait.' " Argh. Ignore the fact that Prilosec is for severe, chronic heartburn, it just bothers me that it is considered a good thing to be impatient.

Mederma scar commercials. There was one, with this lady who literally said, and I shit you not, "My doctor said the surgery went really well and my health is improving, but I felt self-conscious about the scar...." End of the commercial, after she uses Mederma, "Now I can wear strapless drasses again!"

YOU FUCKING SUPERFICIAL BITCH. Your life was saved by surgery, and you were concerned about how you'd look in a strapless dress with that scar? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Who controls the past now, controls the future.
Who controls the present now, controls the past.

Testify, and so on. :D

Am I the only one who's not a big fan of strapless dresses anyway? They never seem to complement women very well.

edit: Zach, don't hurt me, I muffed the lyric a little. Oh wait, you broke up the group, so fuck you anyway.

WTF is De La Rocha doing nowadays anyways? I think I'm starting to like Audioslave, but that might be Chris Cornell's monotone voice combining with Morello's squealing guitar to fry my mind.
