Thought it would be worth more than the 35k the pawnshop will give me, will throw it up on auction once I get someone to assess another item for me.

I would locker it until a Fusion extractor merchant arrives. Then I would yank out the +5 DEX Bonus. Easier to sell the orb if you are looking for silver, and I imagine anyone that buys it would be doing it for that purpose anyway.
