1) All sales are final upon delivery - caveat emptor

Note: I tried to do my best; if you want to see Deepthroat sing to it before you buy, that's fine. Once silver or dollars exchange hands, you will be given an item with the name listed next to the item # you purchased. There are several items names listed multiple times - in the event you want one of these items, I will make every attempt to ensure you get the one you bid on. You can copy & paste the what's in Column F (song log) to see the loresong and/or assessing data.

2) Bidding:

a) Contact options - Bidding can be done:
-on this forum page
-Via PMs to "Deathravin"
-IMing "LordDeathravin" on AIM
-or E-Mailing Valendros@GMail.com
b) Minimum bid - is 100k unless sung-to value is lower or otherwise noted.
c) Buy Out - is 10x the minimum bid or otherwise noted.
c) Include item # - to ensure Clarity (Item number, NOT line number)
d) No Bundling - Seperate bids for every item (no "2m for items 2, 3, 4")

3) Going-Going-Gone - Bids will be carried out in a going once, twice, sold - each step coming in the morning after the last bid. (bid @5pm Thursday, Going once Friday 8am, Goince twice Saturday 10am, Sold Sunday 11am) - morning being defined as "whenever I wake up that day and remember to do it"
3a) Sold - Bids will be marked as 'sold' as of the next Midnight (12am) central time zone occurs after the bid is moved to "going twice".

4) Dollar bids

a) Dollar bids will be counted at $5 per mil - all winning bid's cash must be sent via PayPal to "Valendros@GMail.com" before the item is delivered.
b) Silvers for Sale too - Silvers are for sale at $5 per mil
Note: Items will be moved to the "Sold" tab when the item exchanges hands.

6) Pickup location & time - A time will be agreed upon to pick up the item. The city for all item exchanges will be in Illistim - it's just too many items to be running around everywhere for everybody. We rest at #156. It's pretty quick with the recent changes. We don't have FWI access on any account. - You can request the item be sung to by Deepthroat before exchange takes place.

7) Non-Delivery - All items must be picked up within 14 days of winning sold date. On the 15th day, the item will be moved back to the for-sale list.

8) Misc
- Silver transactions will be done via the Exchange verb.
- I'll try to update the bids several times per day on the spreadsheet.

As a quick FYI - Google Docs is a bit slow when it comes to performance on this sheet. It may be their system itself or the 25000 formulas I put on it.

If you want to view a bit quicker (and see the formulas or use it yourself), just File > Download As > Excel. It's much faster. But it obviously will be a snapshot and won't include any changes down the line - so you will still have to deal with the slowness for that. ><


Also - ya, I'm not quite as good as I should be - for instance none of the TD items have actual AMOUNTS. That's just my laziness. Also I don't control directly the character that can check on padding/weighting for me so that's not included either... I will check on old items once I'm done checking on NEW items.

I currently have a locker character filled with 400 lbs of new crap that I have yet to sing to - so that's my priority for the day. Hopefully I can get through it fairly quick (and I'll try to be better on the Weighting/padding/TD etc for those items)

In room 156, Deepthroat has been running a singing script for a while now. She'll sing to your stuff, recite the results and give you back the item...
Well I just made Frosty do the same with Assessing. He's trained to do Armor and THW at the moment (though he's not smart enough to switch grips on OHE/THW items like katanas and bastardswords - which I may change today...).

Just as an FYI. Also I got about 75 more items up yesterday on the spreadsheet. I'm going to be working on the padding/weighting cells of the spreadsheet today I think, and probably the temp enh, temp special, and criteria portions today. (and maybe the resistances too)

Then I'm going to try to focus on filling in some of the item's gaps... Checking the TD amount for +TD items, getting as many of the shield sizes as I can, assessing the armor and THW that I have access to.

I fixed the flaring/padding/weighting thing - think it looks pretty spiffy.
I added a resistance column.
The spreadsheet WORKS. It's a bit slow. I certainly recommend anybody who wants to do any real in-depth digging to go to File > Download As > Excel. And open it that way.


I think all I'm really waiting for now is for my collaborators to come in and...
- validate their lockers, so we know what is where (and if we even still have it)...
- assess any thing yet to be assessed... (THW and Armor)
- fill in those shield sizes...
- Add the +TD amounts to the end of the song log ("end of the song. 6 TD")
- remove any items they don't want sold...
- impose any minimum bid restrictions they might want...

It might be a bit longer. I'm more active during the weekends while they're more active during the week. But I've made very significant progress and in the end I think we'll all be very happy - you guys with items you want - us with lockers we can actually use. Just give it a bit more time ><.

It's coming, I swear. Just have some more stuff to add to the list then I'll probably open Thursday morning. It's so much stuff - it's EVERYWHERE.... It's 6 7 months of just tossing crap where it can fit - on 11 characters on 10 accounts... I even found random throw-away crap like smooth stones and cloth armbands just strewn through our lockers.

It's like a spring cleaning, inventory, and sell-off all in one. In retrospect I think I shouldn't have said anything til I was ready - but I think it sort of lit a fire under my butt to get it done.

- Forced to make somewhat of a judgment call on bids for 'sold' items: Attempting to be as fair as possible, and adhering to the scope and goal of the auction and attempting to creep away from that spirit as little as possible. "Going Twice" items will be sold as of midnight Central time. Any bids for a 'sold' item after midnight central will be void.
Reasoning behind this is simply to try to keep the process as fair and fast as possible. I feel a waiting period of at least 48 hours (and at most 95 hours) is plenty of time to place a rival bid.
There were several such bids last night, and I must apologize to those who placed bids before I firmly set this rule. The spirit of this auction isn't as much to make silver or cash. It's more so item prices are prohibitive enough to ensure the better an item is, the party most likely to use the item receives it and a decent attempt to clear out our lockers. (that being said, the silvers/dollars are a nice bonus LOL)
Feel free to openly discuss any questions/comments/concerns about this rule update using any of the above contact methods.
