Was using loot-be-gone to stockpile,... but it stop working, and it stopped selling my other stuff as well. It just acts as if i have nothing in my lootsack. It was always temprimental, stopping in the middle of storing gems, then running off and selling the rest,... now it just doesn't even seem to see them,.. or anything else.

I never did figure out how to set the "locker" so it wouldn't have to ask me all the time which "locker" to go to, so i just stowed the gems in another container and put them in my lootsack manually when i was there to tell it which "locker" to go to,... but as long as i am asking,... how do i set that locker to be automatic?

Since loot-be gone no longer seems to work for me, i tried using sloot sell, but when i enabled stockpiling it froze and gave me this message:

--- Exception: undefined local variable or method `checksilver' for SLoot:Class
sloot:336:in `to_locker'
--- Lich: sloot has exited.

so i seem to be back to the question of how to set up a locker for auto stockpiling?

oh well, any help will be greatly appreciated....

Thanks

loot-be-gone now requires gameobj-data.xml. Just type these three lines once. You won't have to do it again on your next login.

;rep download gameobj-data.xml
;updater add gameobj-data.xml
;e GameObj.load_data

Without this file, which describes what items are and where they can be sold, loot-be-gone doesn't think there's anything to do.

To set a locker, go to the room just outside your locker, that is, the room where you would type "go curtain" or "go opening". Then type:

;go2 save locker=current

Stopping while storing gems is probably due to an oddness with lockers where the contents of the locker is removed from the game every 20 seconds or so. This generally isn't a problem, unless you've been saving gems in another container so that it takes more than 20 seconds to get them all put in jars.

The sloot checksilver error is probably from a missing or old slib.

Thanks Tillmen,

Its all working now except for that annoying habit of stopping in the middle of storing the gems, then running off and selling them... It happens even if I only put small amounts of gems in my loot sack, and if i stop loot-be-gone as it is running off to sell my gems, if it is restarted, it will open the locker, then close it immediately,... and run off and sell the gems... very annoying.

Any other thoughts on this?

If it goes to the locker and does nothing, either loot-be-gone's tracking is off because you changed something in your locker manually, or there's a bug in the script. Try

;loot-be-gone stockpile=forget

and see if it helps.

usually that helps for a couple gems then back to the gem dealer.... sometimes it doesnt help at all...
