I just got back into playing my drums after slacking hardcore and barely playing at all for the past several years, so I figured I'd start with something easy. I'm self taught and not really a technical drummer at all.

This is my first video. Either the camera's mic sucks (I don't really like the camera anyway I'm probably gonna exchange it), or I need to just position it somewhere else, as it picked up too much from the cymbals and not enough from the bass drums.

I'm still rusty, plus one of my headphone speakers blew out right before I recorded this, making it hard to hear the song playing, so some parts might be slightly off. I only did one take since my camera battery died.

So...my apologies for the poor sound quality.

If you have a problem with any of these things, fuck off. :)

I'll be adding more stuff as I make it, hopefully with better sound quality.

It was a long time ago, but my friends and I, around this time of the year, would unscrew all those little light bulbs from Christmas trees in the neighborhood and then go somewhere higher up overlooking a cement sidewalk. And make it rain light bulbs.

And that is exactly the sort of raw emotion your music invokes, but I am too brainwashed by society into breaking light bulbs from a precipice these days.

Not really following their drummer, just doing some improv off the top of my head for fun. Threw in some double bass for Drayal, though my legs are still way out of shape from what they used to be so it'll be a bit before I start throwing some real double bass stuff up (i.e. Slayer).

Unfortunately my camera died halfway through this (seriously, fuck this camera) but I'm posting it anyway. I'll redo it tonight after work or something when I have more time. And some new headphones with both speakers working.

Congrats on being able to play an instrument. I gave up on guitar shortly after I tried to tune by ear and then checked it with the auto-tune... it didn't even detect them as notes....and neither did anyone else. It was about then I realized I might be missing some tones.
