I have a little level 15 sorcerer that I started and am a bit confused.
I have never played a pure caster before and am wondering if perhaps I should just re-roll wizard.
Of late, I have been smashing him through low level mobs (Mants and Thraks from 10 to 15) and am looking for the next set up to hunt. Tried Crystal Golems in the landing and find that I can easily go OOM 702ing them before I get a buzz.
This seems to be the case with anything remotely close to my level. If I try to hunt anywhere near my level, I can't buzz before going OOM. Harness Power giving 4 mana per level (plus extras for training) will eventually solve this, as will wracking, but even so I am confused as to what the point of this is.
When will I be able to like level hunt? Will I ever be able to uphunt (without blowing through tons of orbs)?
I think I may just drop this character and re-roll a Wizard swinging an e-bladed Lance!
Someone make a decent argument as to why that would be a bad idea and why Sorcerers are awesome.
