Perm mech spiked backsword

I have a 5x backsword
It has a long and a show
It has permenant mechanical spike flares from the Wavedancer.

a well balanced rolaren backsword set with a blue star-shaped riftshard

Two thin metal spikes are attached to the handle of the backsword. They are angled so that they lie parallel to one another, against the length of the weapon. Tightly coiled steel springs are clearly visible beneath the spikes. The springs appear to be in absolutely perfect condition. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

They always hit the same spot you aim for, great for ambushers. Ambush to the eye, flare to the eye = win!



I know permenant mechanical flares were only offered on the runs of the WD and maybe one other place, then they went to temporary and now have not been seen in a bit.

Any ideas?

They haven't been seen because the GM behind Jovn is gone.

Seems people prefer these flares on small weapons, like daggers. Backswords are kind of awful to begin with.

Yea backswords aren't the best, but I think it was all I had on me when I was picked. It happens. Still decent flares.

So consensus is 5 - 7 mil range?

Sounds about right. I have a 5X perm mechanical-flares rolaren mace in a shop for like 15m that has been there since the Wavedancer. Apparently 15m is too high so 6-7m sounds about right.
