Okay, I really just want some advice as to what websites to go to for a good and FREE way to develop my own website. I have several things I'd like to post on that site, like stories I have written, portraits of my characters and others, RL pics etc. Any ideas or thoughts?

Um.. geocities.com and angelfire.com are the ones I know. I use Geocities but some people use angelfire, not sure the difference.

Nah. Basic HTML (if that these days) will get you by. I used to have a mythology website that I let lapse. If I can make one... anyone can.

Those site hosts are t3h suck.

I use freewebs.com for my page of awesomeness. Just don't put any Klaive pictures up or they'll be deleted...

Depending where you get your internet access from they might give you free space as well. I called my cable company and they give you 10mb of free space to do what you will with it. You just need to call and set it up.
