I like the top and bottom, but not the edge, crust of pie. Same with cake now that I think about it. And bread. I do not like bread crust. Or the corner brownie. I like the brownie heart. Cookies are ok if they are not over cooked.

This year, I tried to make things easier on myself by doing pumpkin pudding in the slow-cooker ('cause it could bake on the counter yesterday while the turkey was in the oven, instead of me having to worry about making it Wednesday night after a full day of work). Honest to goodness, it was pumpkin pie without the crust. I'm trying to avoid having it for breakfast.

Does anyone eat cake on Thanksgiving? I never gave it a thought.. Thanksgiving is always when I pull out the pie recipes I never make any other time of the year.
