1) I love you and I'm figuring out how to get an app that lets me violate you.

2) Fuck you Sprint for wanting an additional 29.99 a month to utilize the hot spot feature (one of the main things I wanted with this phone).

3) Easy Tether isn't playin nice with my OS on my laptop so I still have to figure that out.

4) Again that 29.99 a month on top of unlimited data on top of the premium 10 for having a 4G device, fuck you not doing it.

Is your phone rooted? Try PdaNet (http://www.junefabrics.com/android/) for USB and Bluetooth tethering, if you can't get the WiFi-s tethering to work.

(I used Wireless Tether on my Droid X to bypass Verizon's hotspot fee. Still only supports ad hoc mode, but infrastructure mode coming soon!)

This is quite possibly the most sexy phone on the market. Good luck with the violation app.

Phone is not rooted, haven't dickered with it at all actually.

Trying PdaNet now but it doesn't see my device it's giving me the 103 error can't see device, device manager shows a fully functioning ADB device so I'm not sure WTF is up with it right now. I just want to DL the wow patch at work it's not too much to ask ffs.

Assuming your not "playing" at work, why not leave your laptop at home and use a remote viewer app like TeamViewer from your phone to start/monitor your download.

I'm not even going to edit it to correct it because either way it's right!

I have that phone as well. I upgraded from a Pre just like you. Very happy with it so far and really like Android, though it isn't nearly as hackable as WebOS.

Fuck Sprint wanting $30 for their wireless hotspot. Root that bitch (which is harder on this phone than the Evo) and go to town. I personally think PDANet is a pretty crappy but lots of people have big boners for it.
